This mound forming, deciduous Japanese Maple has many quality that make it an excellent bonsai including its sculptural form, finely cut foliage, arching shoots with a cascading habit and golden autumn color. The reddish purple flowers are tiny but attractive up close and are followed by winged fruit.
This threadleaf Japanese Maple makes a beautiful bonsai specimen. Deciduous. Keep outdoors.
